Q: Can I bring a friend?

A: Definitely! In fact, you can bring up to two friends. Just be sure to use the RSVP setting on the Meetup.com page so I can keep track of who’s coming to each event.

Q: Do I have to eat pizza?

A: Of course not. Participation in the Pizza Pool is totally up to you. If you do decide to chip in, it’s just $5 per person and we’ll order one pizza for every three people, so there will be plenty to go around.

Q: Win a free game?

A: Yup, at the start of each month, I’ll choose three games from my own library or from sponsor donated games and they’ll be on display in the clubhouse all month long. Every time you attend a playtest event that month, I’ll add your name into a jar and on the last meetup of each month, I’ll pull out a name and that person gets their choice of one of the three games. If you’re not there for the drawing then I’ll contact you by email and you can pick your game at the next event. If you don’t pick it up by the next drawing, then I’ll pull two names out of the jar and you’ll be out of luck. I’ll empty the jar after each drawing so keep attending the playtest events to keep your name in the running for a free game.

Q: Can I bring a friend?

A: Certainly, if they are there to help you with your project. Hopefully, they’ll see how useful the clubhouse is and will want to get a membership of their own. Remember, the clubhouse is financed by your membership fee, so if non-members come in to work on their own projects then you’re only wasting your own money and putting the financial stability of the whole clubhouse in jeopardy.

Q: Do Premier Designer Members really get 24/7 access?

A: Yes, they receive a key to the clubhouse and are welcome to come and go on their own schedule.  Of course, I’ll have a serious conversation with each person before I agree to accept their Premier Designer membership and grant them the run of the place. If someone abuses the privilege, you can be sure they will not be welcomed back.
